Body and Paint Bus
Original colors combination Chestnut Brown and Sealing Wax Red; it was painted about a year and a half ago using Glasurit. The body is very nice and only shows the 4000 miles worth of use that I put on it. (I drive her!) She has all its original trim, rear bubble taillight and third brake light (the exact ones it left the factory with!) The rag top mechanism is also the original one to the bus, with a brand new rag top from Doug Denlinger. It has all correct and original Sigla AS -1 Glass and Creative Engineering front safaris.
Interior Bus
The interior is GORGEOUS. Thanks to Doug Denlinger I got a complete Interior package done. The seats, panels, headliner are all done to factory specs. Even the welting on the seats is the correct one! The interior also comes with a fully restored, yet not connected Blaupunkt Radio, a working clock and a Bus Trip Speedometer.
It has a full Sound system and everything is hidden! You have a hidden switch and an AUX to connect your Ipod and 8 Speakers to jam too.
Suspension
- Front
Believe it or not for as low as she is she rides like a stock bus! The front has a 4 inch narrowed beam, with SACO wide 5 brakes. She has a 1967 dual master cylinder. Stops great. - Rear
She has a Freeway flyer transmission with short axels and 5 inch drop plates) The transmission is a 3.88 with and 89 4th. (has a early bus nose cone and needs regulation its currently not staying in 4th gear)
All the drive train has 4000 Miles!
Engine
There is nothing better then cruising in a VW and being able to do 80 mph without hesitating, no expenses where spared when building this motor. It’s a 2027 with dual Italian 44 Webbers. (I have a full build sheet on the motor)
Wheels
I have two sets of wheels and both will be included. I have a set of original South African Sprintstars and set of widened Crows feet. (currently on the deep dish crows feet with brand new tires)
