Interior
A complete 66/67 1-year only Aero-Papyrus / Blue-Metal interior. The rear seat is OG with the correct chrome rail and blue metal kick panel. The full width middle seat is OG with the correct blue metal grab handles, a repro kick panel supplied by Campingbox and covered in OG blue metal fabric and piping. The front seats have been re-covered at some point but have been done to a nice standard and don’t look out of place. The correct blue floor mats are in place as is the blue metal fabric on the dash tray. Sections of the headliner have at some stage been replaced but have been fitted well and look good. The dash is fitted with a working ‘68 AM/FM Blaupunkt radio with a mono dash mounted speaker. The rear luggage area has been re-carpeted at some point and the correct blue/grey side panels are fitted. 1 Key fits all locks. The bus has a jack, and wheelbrace and spare with a new whiteband tyre fitted.

Body
Sea-blue / Cumulus White OG paint with a light patina on 3 sides. The paint is matt with a few scratches here and there but is deep and looks great. I have always liked the look of the paint matt and never wanted to buff it out but alot of the marks would polish out. I guess its personal choice. The bus is super straight with the only noticeable scrape being to the rear of the cargo door, there are a few other dings but for 47 years old it’s a real survivor. I had some rust repairs done when I bought the bus mostly to the rear of the front whee larches and a small section of the inner valance. There are areas that could be repaired like the outer sills and passenger cab step which have some rust through’s and the cargo floor which has a rust through by the passenger front whee larch. I went for preservation over restoration and wanted to retain as much of the original paint as possible so did was what was needed for the MOT only. The areas of rust have liberally coated in waxoyle. The good news is the chassis, battery trays, cab floor, out riggers and jack points are super solid.

Mechanics
I have the birth certificate which confirms that the 1500 SP that came with the bus is the matching numbers motor. I had it rebuilt by The Engine Shop and have a list of the works carried out with a 12 month guarantee. The ancillaries were removed and cleaned and the OG tinware freshened up. The motor runs really sweet and retains the correct governor and to date has only covered 150 miles since re-build. The trans axle was removed and cleaned. The gators, mounts, input shaft seal, nosecone bushes and seal have been replaced and fresh oil put in. The ‘box is quiet and shifts through the gears nicely. The steering idler pin has been re-bushed at the last MOT and the rear tyres replaced with fresh white bands. The bus stops well and is a pleasure to drive.

I have a folder of history to go with the bus including plenty of receipts and service documents dating back to the sixties. I believe the bus was originally delivered to New York then found its way west to California which is probably why it survived so well.

Comes with UK tax and MOT. I can assist with shipping anywhere, ring or Email I have a folder with 100+ photos for interested folks.
