Imported from Europe is said runs and drives well, solid body frame sold with certificate. Hard to find in here especially like this condition could be a perfect example of the Split bug being offered in US today, should come if seriously.

This European delivered, Running / driving very solid split Deluxe beetle has not been offered for sale in over 40 years. Discovered INTACT and ORIGINAL in 2015. it was not assembled out of parts like most of these.
Correctly restored original chassis, brakes, steering, floorpans, etc using correct split-specific parts(not later beetle parts, not chinese parts) This work was just completed in 2016 and has covered about 1500 miles since. I chose to preserve the original paint on the body.
Comes with 2 engines: A stock 1966 1500 for driving (currently in it) and matching number 25hp engine (included).
VW factory certificate confirms matching numbers on engine, front beam, body, chassis, etc. and correct date codes on all components.
