Buy Classic Volks – Volkswagen Type 3 Squareback for Sale Illinois, on very good condition. 1972 Yellow Squareback, nice patina. Originally found in a barn in California in great condition, sold to a man who planned to race it in a rally and he had it lowered for that reason. Car never entered the rally and eventually was sold to a collector in Minnesota where it was garage kept for 1-2 years. Collector then sold his entire collection and the car made its new home in Illinois. The new owner planned to flip the car and went on to do some minor interior/exterior cosmetic work molding the dashboard and installing new brake light lenses, license lamp seals, front door panels, foam seat bottoms, and also other mechanical work such as new rear brakes, new shifter coupler and new fuel lines. I was the next owner after that and i have since had a new generator put in, i did some pipe sealing around the headlights and tail lights, cleaned up some of the wiring, new pulleys and belt for generator, new oil tube, carbs synched up and oil leaks fixed. Looking to get $6500 for it.
