Buy Classic Volks – Volkswagen Super Convertible for Sale California, USA. Year construction 1978, Red color on Excellent condition with black interior. 1978 Super Beetle Convertible. I am the 3rd owner of this wonderful car. I bought it in Sept. 2006.
It was a bit rough and I have replaced the following items:
* carpets, trunk and inside car
* all door and quarter panels
* black convertible top (inside head liner is original and in good condition)
* new convertible top boot
* new dash cover
* all new window rubber, scrappers, convertible top seal rubber
* front windshield
* new bumpers and trim
* shocks and struts
* brakes (all the way around)
* transaxle has been rebuilt with a new clutch set up
* BRAND NEW motor (not rebuilt), NEW case, NEW crank, rods and pistons, bearrings, NEW heads, and NEW fuel injectors
* all engine tin has been powder coated black
* the entire exhaust system has been ceramic coated gray
* heater works as designed

All the mechanical work was done by a professional, VW only shop, Valley Volkswagon of Palmdale, CA. during 2011-2012. I have all the receipts. The car was smoged and passed on 5/15/12.
Not OG paint – it was repainted by previous owner. This is not a perfect car, but it is REALLY, REALLY nice!
Car has only been used for pleasure driving and car shows. This car won 1st place in its class at the 2012 VW Classic in Irvine, CA.
Car has always been kept in an indoor shop garage.
