Buy Classic Volks – Volkswagen Scirocco for auction in Bangor, Gwynedd, United Kingdom. 1985 Scirocco 1.6 RHD on good condition, some slight marks but nothing major. interior is clean 132000 on the clock, reliable car, no tax and mot runs out in the beginning of dec. the car is a manual gearbox.

Early model, mk2 scirocco, the rarer non bodykit model. In very good condition.
It’s a 1.6ltr carburettor car with a 5 speed gearbox. It was originally an automatic (still says so on the log book) but it was converted a few years ago. Its capri blue in colour and the bodywork is very tidy, with only a few knocks and scratches. The registration number has been valued at between £150-200.
In short its a great example of a rare non bodykit mk2 scirocco, not mint, but then if it was it would be a lot more money!!!

Bottletop alloys in great condition.
Cam belt and cam seal done.
An early gti interior, which is in great shape.
Solid, fuel filler neck, fuel tank cleaned and fuel lines and filters replaced.
New fuel pump.
Solid exhaust.
Gear linkeage bushes replaced.
Good solid bodyshell.
Eyebrow spoiler fitted.
New drivers door hinge pins fitted.
The rear wheel arches ( a notorious bad spot for corrosion on these cars) have been replaced.
New front wiper blades.
New brake light switch.
Recent clutch cable.

Bad points. ( not many!)
The glass sunroof leaked in heavy rain, so i have sealed it with black silicone.
It still has the pierburg carb fitted, which to my mind stays on fast idle too long. It’s fine once the engine is up to temperature and the car starts first time , everytime, hot or cold.

The milometer occasionally doesnt register mileage, the speedo however always works. It’s only done this for the last few weeks and as i don’t do a huge weekly mileage, it won’t make a big difference to the actual recorded mileage. It has a sony stereo fitted with aux output there are four standard speakers fitted.
