Buy Classic Volks – 1971 Karmann GHIA for sale Hyndman, Pennsylvania, USA. This is a very nice Ghia and returned to the road in 2003, It has 55,4xx original miles. 3rd owner, It was taken off the road in 1977/78 and dry stored until 2003 free of rust. All metal is original and it has been resprayed on the exterior only in the original Signal Orange. Door jambs,trunk and every nook retains original paint. Original Rosewood leatherette seats were saved with no rips or tears. Original Blaupunkt 8 track stereo (tape player listed on dealer sales order. Dash, Carpets, door panels and headliner were all redone.

Properly rebuilt 1641cc DP AK motor, Rancho transmission,all brakes and lines, fuel tank, entire ignition sys incl electonic. New battery, exhaust and alternator 2013. New 165×15 tires on powdercoated rims with new caps and trim rings. All original books, keys, documents, receipts and Official VW Zertificate of build/delivery info come with the car.
There are still a lot of Ghias out there…just not very many truly good ones in the East.
