Just bought this 30 year barn find a few months ago.
We got it in boxes, and put it together
New brake shoes, narrowed 4″ bug beam
2.5″ drop spindles, and some odds and ends..
It has the original 1600 engine with dual carbs, and is all complete and correct.

Car is original German paint with some evidence of touch up
Fist size hole on the battery tray
No other significant rust….
Car has no collision damage!
All four gears work…
Needs a windshield
Also needs one tail light lens… One of the pictured lenses is BMW 2002
The type 3 pan has not been modified for the beam…
The beam was modified for the pan, and can be returned to stock in a couple hours.
These cars are very rare…
This one is a cream puff! And… It’s OG Paint!
Everything works… Turn signals, brake lights, horn, fog lights, dome lights, wipers, charging system (still original 6 volt) heater even works!
