This a 1969 Type 3 Fastback with sunroof and pop out rear windows. This car is very rust free. Was a Colorado car till 2 years ago and has been in a garage since. She is all original right down to the paint. Runs and drives but has been converted to dual carbs over the years and they are shot. I do have a new set of Empi 34’s new in the box along with all new linkage, manifolds, filters, and all needed to install them. Also have installed a new 009 distributor, new plugs, wires,cap and rotor.

Car is showing 69K, I am going to assume it is 169k after 45 years. New windshield has been installed along with new seals for it and a new seal has been installed in the rear window too. New headliner has been installed. All electrical works except the horn. Original interior will need to be replaced although there is a new dash pad installed. The car has been lowered slightly, has good rubber all around and good brakes and someone has put new shocks all around and new bushings in the rear. Numerous spare parts including seat sliders, wipers, chrome trim rings and more. I also have a complete spare motor for her out of a 1973 type 3 that was running when that car had an accident. I currently have that one stripped down to the long block and am planning to go through it and replace all gaskets and seals and reassemble it with the new carbs and install it in the car although the engine that is currently in the car runs fine except for the carbs and drips maybe one drip of oil when she sits for a few weeks. The further along I get with that the higher the price will go on the car.

The current motor has a new clutch and T/O bearing and a new rear seal along with a new front transmission mount and new shifter bushings and a new CV boot kit.

This is as rust free of a Type 3 as I have seen in the last 20 years. The only rust is under the battery box with the exception of one bubble on the Drivers fender at the bottom rear about the size of a pencil eraser and some surface rust under the carpet.The rocker panels, heater channels, and everywhere else is clean. The heat works well too and the spare motor is complete with all tins and heat exchangers. I have had this car up on my lift and she is VERY solid and straight. I had the doors apart to clean and grease the windows and there is not even any surface rust inside of them. Body had normal dings and dents from 45 years of driving but this is a very clean and straight car and a perfect candidate for restoration/modifying, or drive daily, the paint is shiny except where it has been chipped or scratched/dinged.
