The car was repainted within the last 10 years and I have not been able to spot any imperfections in the body. There is absolutely NO RUST from what I have seen on the car. It has the blue cloth interior with no signs of wear. The car has been tastefully modified with a few chassis and suspension stiffening upgrades. The engine was just completely overhauled and rebuilt within the past two years with full documentation. You will be hard pressed to find a GTI of this vintage in condition anywhere near this example. He is not in any rush to sell and wants to make sure that the buyer is going to take the same proper care of the vehicle that he did. The vehicle is daily driven and needs absolutely nothing.
