1992 Volkswagen Jetta with an 8v 1.8L motor. Car runs and drives but is still very much a project. It is lowered on raceland coilovers and has aftermarket wheels. The body is very solid with next to no rust. the motor runs well and the clutch is strong. However it does have its issues. The problems it has are as follows.
- the linkage needs adjustment. (I have fixed the bigger issues with the linkage but have had no time to replace the bushings)
- the speedometer does not work. (However the tachometer does)
- the passenger door handle does not work.
- the interior is not in the best of shape.
- there is no headliner.
I believe this car is a good project for the right person who knows how to work on cars. I wish I could keep it but I have to move soon. This car is obo so make me an offer. Would consider a daily driver for a trade.
