Selling my 1990 Volkswagen Corrado G60 (supercharged 4cyl.). This car has been my child and I have put a lot of time, money and energy into it. It is a 5 speed manual in the VW Nugget Yellow with new paint. The car runs great and is incredibly fun to drive. I believe it is on one of the 100 cars to drive before you die lists out there. Tags are current (pictures were taken before new sticker was on) and registered until June 2015. The electronics are all functioning very well (MFA works great, rear wing is fully functional, electronic seat belts are fully functional, etc) except for the sunroof will pop up in the back, but won’t roll back. It is a common Corrado mod to replace the sunroof with an all glass VW Passat sunroof.
The things that have been recently done to it are:
- New paint and stock front bumper (paint still under warranty)
- Brand new lower front grill shipped in from Germany
- Lightweight carbon fiber hood with brand new hood hardware
- Changed timing belt, water pump, thermostat and lower engine seals less than 10k miles ago
- New aftermarket fuel pump & sending unit with new fuel filter
- Fixed oil leaks and coolant leaks and replaced oil pressure switch
- Recently changed transmission fluid
- Major vacuum lines have been replaced
- Rebuilt rack & pinion steering (new steering rack + tie rod ends) less than 10k miles ago
- Replaced relays for fuel pump, ECU and Load Reduction Sensor
- Steel braided clutch and brake lines
- Supercharger rebuild less than 20k miles ago by BBM
- BBM Motorsports RSR outlet kit for supercharger
- Techtonics performance stainless steel exhaust with new catalytic converter (just passed emissions)
- Back seats have been replaced with excellent condition ones and the trunk shelf has been replaced with new straps sent in from England
- JVC aftermarket radio with headphone AUX cable (will also include Alpine headunit with USB and memory card connectivity)
- Projector headlights
- BBS style wheels with brand new Kuhmo Ecsta high performance tires
- Lowered with Bilstein yellow shocks
