Up for grabs is an “All original !”
6 Volt system.
#’s Matching 1,200 CC 36 hp. Engine
1955 VW bug oval window.
CA. Car
Vintage: CA title/black plates.
Note: There’s one coat of paint covering the original first coat of paint peels of with finger.
Inside: front seats, rear seat top section.
“Inside needs total restoration ! ”
This is a very solid/straight VW bug.
Areas: rust/rott that I have noticed.
Right, shelf area right in engine compartment.
Battery tray, due to battery acid.
Transition area under rear seat where body meets pan.
I am unaware or have not found any other problems areas.
Note:I cannot make out the #’s on the pan I’d area due to age.
Transmission/motor are un-restored.
I am enclosing some research that I have looked up to validate my original claim.
I am not a VW expert however I do know that these vintage VW’s are extremely sought after in this exceptional condition at this price.
