1983 Westfalia. 75k original documented miles. I believe this is a two owner van. Near mint original condition say for a couple dings and scratches. Always garaged. Original paint. Interior still looks new. This was originally a A/C van. The previous owner removed the A/C. This is a excellent low mile survivor that needs nothing.
Motor and Transmission- The van has only 75k original miles.The water cooled 1.9 liter runs perfectly. The van has been meticulously maintained since new. Motor runs great, transmission shift crisp and precise. Steering is tight, brakes are good.
Interior- The interior is in mint condition. The seats are comfortable and have no rips, stains or damage. Headliner is excellent. No cracks in the dash. Carpet still looks new, The fridge was just serviced at Camper World and works great. The fridge runs off propane, 12 volt aux battery, and 120 (shore power). All curtains are in excellent condition and have no sun fading or damage. The interior cabinets are in like new condition. The front seats both swivel. Brand new Kenwood cd player with remote, USB, Infinity speakers, I pod compatible. The 120 volt A/C unit mounted under rear seat is not included, I have a replacement front panel for under the rear seat I will install.
Paint and Body- The paint and body are in excellent condition. The paint is original and looks new say for a couple dings and scratches. Bumpers are in excellent condition. All door and body seals are in good condition, no leaks. Very dry van with no cancer. Always garaged.
Pop Top- The pop top canvas new. There is none of the typical mildew stains on the pop top felt headliner. upper bunk sleeps 2 and the pad is in excellent condition. The fiber glass top is in excellent original condition as well.
Other- New GoWesty heavy duty rear hitch with trailer hook up. This van is set up to tow a small trailer. All outer water hook ups and shore power outlets are new from GoWesty. Brand new LP (propane tank and valves). New main battery. The van has also been upgraded with a heavy duty auxiliary battery. Michelin 185 r14 heavy duty 6 ply tires. The van also comes with its detachable front windshield curtain, bug screen, all owners manuals, and spare belt.
The previous owner took excellent care of this van and always garaged it. One of the nicest Vanagons on the market.
