After owning over 30 VW’s throughout the years I purchased this Ghia as a birthday present for my wife. I did a complete mechanical rebuild on the car and it runs and drives perfect. Due to my wife’s hip she is no longer able to drive a manual transmission! This is the only reason I’m selling the car. If you’ve been looking for a solid rust free Ghia from the southwest here is your chance!
Work performed:
Fresh rebuilt engine: New 74mm crank, new 90.5 p/cly, new rods, camshaft, rocker arms, push rods, oil pump with filter and C.B. oil sump.
Dual Kadron carbs
Fresh rebuilt transaxle and new CV joints and clutch assembly
New Double Adjustable front beam, ball joints, steering box and oil filled shocks
New Carpet set and 3 point seat belts.
Brand new tires, and powder coated 8 spoke wheels.
Car also comes with an extra set of chrome wheels with used tires.
New battery!
Big foot extended clutch pedal and new clutch cable.
