Buy Classic Volks – found this one classic Volkswagen Thing for sale in Torrance, California. This a VW Type 181 1973 model year with orange color, only with 32K miles. The car already offered in Craigslist about 11 days ago. The current owner claims is a barn find car, excellent all original never been restored, museum quality. Very good shape frame so perfect like a new car, the engine and interior so clean hoped is very well as is look. It probably be a remarkable sample of the classic Volkswagen Thing ever seen here.
Originally the Type 181 is evolution of the Type 82 Kübelwagen, which is developed as a military vehicle and had been used by the German military during World War II, then start from 1968-83 was offered on civilian market worldwide by Volkswagen including United States 1973-74. So is really fun to kept it, especially like this condition.
