Never thought I’d be selling this beautiful piece of machinery, but the time has come. It’s just not practical for my needs anymore (camping/offroad driving/potential increase in family size). So I want it to go to someone who will love and appreciate it as much as I have, or just someone who wants a fun peppy ride. I am the first and only owner of this car. No accidents. Always had it’s 5000 mile oil changes. I have receipts for most of the work done except where I occasionally did the work myself (oil changes, fuel filter, cabin filter, air filter). It also has a curt trailer hitch for your towing pleasure. The car is a blast to drive and I will miss it dearly.
The catch: The cam follower for the fuel pump is wearing down and the VW service guys recommend that, as well as the cam be replaced. They quoted me $1600 to fix.
The car runs but has lost some power due to this issue.
The windshield has a crack in it as well.. There’s always groupons for cheaper windshield fixes if you want to save some $$. I also have some coupons for cheaper service at the dealer if thats the route you wanna take.
