Buy Classic Volks – we found this one coolest custom build of vintage low rider truck based on classic Volkswagen T1 single cab 1959 model year, already offered in Craigslist about 17 days ago located in Bowling Green, Ohio. One of a kind custom 1959 vw truck with a newer fresh 1600 engine with a new hei distributor – tune up & oil change.
Complete new exhaust system – tires – wheels – brakes – newer front suspension and a fresh alignment.
This hot rod – rat rod rides – runs – shifts – very smooth.
New front glass and all rubbers and seals are new besides back window which did not need replaced.
Original bumpers from 1959 – front bumper was rechomed with one dent in round bar still and rear bumper was restored and painted with matrix paint and clear.
All lights work as they should – this vintage truck can be driven anywhere and is the star of any car & truck show.
Interior completly redone – seat covered – selt belt for passenger – velour door & kick panels – all custom candy paint from matrix – pioneer stereo cd system that will blow you out of the truck.
Body has zero body filler – a coupe of patches welded on cab and bed is completed with moonstone diamond plate (pvc vinyl) covering the original steel sides.
As you can see in pictures the bed top has a few small holes – bed floor has been dura lined – the cab floor has a couple patches and cargo area (belly pan) could be replaced – you do not see it or use it so i left it alone.
The frame is in good condition – super solid.
The cab was painted and cobwebed and cleared and the roof was only cleared. (rough finish)
There is a painted spyder web on front noise – complete cab was clear with matrix clear.
Great for a motorcycle store display or a old vintage store of any kind. Would make a great mascot for any restaurant – put your logo or store name on the doors.
