Buy Classic Volks – Here’s found this one in Craigslist a high top camper van was built in 1985 based on Volkswagen Vanagon has been driven about 200000 miles with pretty well care for. The owner says is good condition, has been replaced by younger engine and need few electrical system restored. This could be a nice vintage camper example of early Vanagon with rounded lamp.

For sale: Vanagon 1985 with 2008 rebuilt 1.9 Vanagon Engine
This is a reliable, well-maintained vintage VW camper!
-engine replaced in 2008, works great! Makes for a reliable ride;
-4-speed manual transmission — drives like a small truck;
-elevated hard top! Lots of storage and head space, and trouble-free (no mechanical issues there);
-brand new double-bed foam mattress (very comfortable);
-features include working propane stove & battery powered refrigerator, sink with manual pump and water storage tank, cabinet storage, custom sewn curtains;
-electrical utility hook up for campsites;
-main and auxiliary batteries recently replaced;
-custom sound system, 6-cd changer! Amazing sound quality;
-everything works well in Van except AC (unit removed) and gas heat (untested but could be tuned up);
-all maintenance and service records (including engine replacement paperwork) included – date back to 2007!
Before sale, the vehicle will be tuned up and the electrical system fully restored (because an evil chipmunk munched the electric wires!!!)
The body of the Van is in good shape but would benefit from a paint job to ensure longevity.
