As shown here is 1966 VW Squareback fairly cool blue exterior and black interior come with lowered profile. The body looks very straight and rust free, unfortunately not complete trim the badge all gone, hard to find today especially like this condition it could be a great example of Volkswagen Type 3 ready to sale or trade.

Up for sale is a 1966 VW Squareback. I got this car with a bill of sale and the previous owner did not know much about it . It has newer Hot rod flatz paint, brand new Firestone 145 tires up front and 155 in the rear, port o wall white wall inserts, new KYB shocks all the way around, the seats have been re wrapped with new vinyl, brand new TMI door panels, headliner and carpet, new dash pad, brand new dual EMPI carb setup. The passenger side disc brake was locked up so it has been replaced with a new caliper, kenwood cd player with aux port. It has all new fender beading and window seals. New antenna and passenger side mirror. The previous owner had given me the famous, “it ran when it was parked”. I pulled the motor and did a compression test on each cylinder and everything was normal. While it was out I replaced all the gaskets and seals, changed the oil and put new spark plugs and it fired right up. On to the negatives, if you know anything about Type 3 cars, you know that parts are incredibly hard to find. The front bumper has a dent in it. Looked for a replacement but everything I saw was just as bad, if not worse than whats on it, and no one makes reproductions that I found. Their are a few spots where the paint has chipped. Their is a light missing on the hatch hinge cover. Clean title in hand. Their are no warranties for this car and buyer will assume all shipping costs. Possible trade for c10 truck.
