New 2015 VW Scirocco GTS

Here’s new Volkswagen Scirocco GTS will show up at next week’s Shanghai Auto Show. The original Scirocco GTS was presented from the 1980s, and they are is a higher level trim than the Golf GTI package at the time.

Currently the Scirocco GTS not really a level above the Golf GTI, as it should be. Technically and cosmetically, the new Scirocco GTS was related to the new Golf GTI (read this). So it was like the new GTS is essentially a visual package only.

The new Scirocco GTS had powered by 2.0-liter turbocharged under the bonnet its produces 217-hp and has two options transmission manual and DSG. If you choose combined with the standard 6-speed manual, your GTS get a top speed of 246km/h (153mph). And the second options with 6-speed DSG dual clutch transmission you got top speed 244km/h (152mph). The both only 6.5 seconds from 0 to 100km/h (62mph).

The new Scirocco GTS will come with Modular infotainment matrix (MIB II) infotainment system and that will also be added on all Scirocco models this year.
